Students standing in the jaws of a shark at Ft. Fisher.

Our Fourth Graders had a wonderful time spending the day at Ft. Fisher on Friday, April 20, 2018. Teachers and other staff members who chaperoned the trip brought back compliment after compliment for our students. They enjoyed seeing the ocean and touring the aquarium. They learned a lot about underwater life on the coast of North Carolina.

Parents and students during our girls got game night made inspirational art.

We held our Girls Got Game Night on March 22, 2018, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. All the girls and their guest had a wonderful time. Time was spent building relationships while enjoying Pictionary, Hula Hoop Games, and making an Inspirational Art piece. Thank you to all that attended as well as those who helped to prepare for such an outstanding night. We look forward to next year.

Parents enjoying muffins with their students while learning math concepts. Our wonderful Kindergarten Staff put together a welcoming morning of Math and Muffins on Friday, March 23, 2018. The students in Kindergarten showed parents how they solve math problems in their classrooms every day. Some of them were teaching parents about ten frames and other math concepts. Parents also learned how they can help their student master each objective.

Parents and students at our Make it Stick workshop.

Our Make It Stick Workshop was held on Saturday, March 24, 2018. Parents and students in attendance learned strategies to help with content they may see for assigned homework. These strategies will also help the students with upcoming End of Grade Testing.
