WE ARE “ROAR”ING AT COLLEGE LAKES!

Roaring Lions have two bulletin boards that have pictures of students who have earned 25 lions cards. They also receive a postcard at home to recognize this achievement.

Students with 50 Lion cards are celebrated by having lunch on the stage with PBIS team members and a special treat.

Students with 125 Lion cards have lunch with the Administrator.

Teachers who are consistently participating in our PBIS program have their names entered into a raffle. There is one winner each for K-2 teachers, 3-5 teachers, and all other staff.

PBIS is supported by our local school system, businesses, and elected officials.

GOAL

Our goal is to have school-wide expectations that give all students specific information which helps them to know what is expected of them. All stakeholders know what the expectations are and they are aware of the consequences for not meeting the expectations. Our teachers, administrators, counselors and support staff are committed to teaching and modeling positive behavior expectations and character traits for our students.

Our PBIS team, teachers, and administrators use data to make decisions about student behavior and consequences. That data is also used to identify and correct problems. Our school rules and guidelines will address bullying behaviors and provide a safe school environment for your students. They will also assure more time for instruction. We are committed to consistently applying the consequences and positive reinforcements for all of our students.
